Day 11 – A song from your favorite band

No question about the band, choosing a song was significantly more tricky, however. A lot of people overlook this song, but it is magnificent.

Day 10 – A song that makes you fall asleep

An infuriatingly pretentious yet occasionally magnificent band. This is an epic, epic piece of music.

I’m sure a lot of people chose a rubbish song for day ten.

Day 9 – A song that you can dance to

I wouldn’t be surprised to find this song hidden somewhere in the human genome.

Day 08 – A song that you know all the words to

I really do know all the words to this song.

Even Public Enemy don’t write ‘em like that any more.

Leaving a horrible situation and flying halfway round the world to the woman I love.

Day seven – A song that reminds you of a certain event

This house is owned by a famous architect and is located on a small island in the middle of the Thames. Nice, eh?

Day six – a song that reminds me of somewhere

1998: a fun time in my life.

Classic American rock and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Truth be known, this hasn’t a great deal to do with my maternal grandparent’s relationship, but this is how I choose to remember them regardless.

Neil Young’s genius has been in consistently making it look so bloody easy.

Day 4 – ‘A song that makes you sad’

OK, a weird kind of sad based on self-reflection more than anything else, but this song needs to get in there sooner rather than later.
